Reclaimed Barn Siding

Interior designers, architects, or homeowners considering creating a rich, rustic look are invited to see the many barn siding samples we have in our showroom – including the popular silver-gray shiplap. The collection of available wood is constantly updating as we salvage materials from the barns we dismantle. Give us a call or a visit to see what we currently have to offer.

In our full-service mill, we are able to tongue-and-groove or shiplap all types of barn siding for your installation needs.

Reclaimed barn siding is a very versatile product that adds rustic character to any space. Our silver and brown siding, in particular, are ideal for siding, paneling, wainscoting, or ceiling material for residential and commercial applications.

real antique wood barn siding shiplap

Shiplap

Shiplap has notches (rabbets) cut on each side of the board, which allows the wood to self-space when the wall expands or compresses. We carry gray shiplap and several other varieties.

real antique wood barn siding tongue and groove

Tongue & Groove

Tongue and groove joints allow two flat pieces to be strongly joined together to make a single flat surface. Each piece has a slot (the groove) cut all along one edge, and a thin, deep ridge (the tongue) on the opposite edge. Two or more pieces thus fit together closely.

real antique wood barn siding square edge

Square Edge

Square edge siding is the most basic of siding configurations. It is installed by butting each board against the edge of its neighbor without overlapping. This configuration is usually installed over felt paper or some other black underlay.
