Rey Sol Coffee

Rey Sol is not your ordinary coffeeshop. The coffee served here, by Mr. Lisimaco Ramirez and his family, comes straight from the family’s farm in Balboa Risaralda, Colombia.

Rey Sol also doesn’t look like your average coffeeshop. For this project, we couldn’t be more honored that, not only did they choose us to provide material, they also chose us to provide our vision and the bulk of the install – including the flooring, counter wrap, shelving, chair rail molding, door casings, trash unit cover, and a live-edge serving shelf.

Most of the project, including the floors, was crafted from a mix of our Harvest collection and our black horse fencing. We applied those same materials in a herringbone pattern on the counter wrap and trash unit cover to give them a more unique look. For the chair rail molding, we utilized the back side of our brown boards and then finished them. The live-edge serving shelf was made from a slab of beech that was sourced from a sleeper beam from a barn in Ohio.
