From top to bottom, we supplied lots of material for this home in Westfield, New Jersey. We created the ceiling beams from old hand hewn beams that were turned into box beams by cutting the original faces off and putting them pack together so that they’re hollow inside but look solid. For the floors, we provided our American classic wood, both in plank form for the kitchen and in a 3-by-12 herringbone pattern for the living and dining spaces. And we also crafted a set of shelves and a barn door out of excess material.
